Privacy policy
Last updated 2 October 2026. This policy covers the Sudoku Coach app on Android, iOS, and the web, and the daily scores it sends to the vaDALI games hub.
There is no account. We do not ask for your email, phone number, or real name. You can play without signing in.
What stays on your device
- The casual game and today’s daily game, including notes, time, hints, and mistakes
- A random player id created on first launch
- The display name you choose for the leaderboard
- Theme, coach voice on or off, and whether ads were removed by purchase
Clearing the app’s data or the browser site data removes this from that device. Coach speech uses the device’s own voice. The words are not sent to us.
Daily scores
If you finish the daily puzzle, the app sends one score to gamehub.vadali.com:
- Player id and display name
- Time and hints used
- The finished grid, so the hub can check it against today’s puzzle
Only the first finish of that UTC day is kept. Casual games are not sent. The hub is used to show the leaderboard.
Ads and purchases
On Android and iOS, a rewarded ad from Google AdMob can unlock extra hints for that puzzle. Google may use an advertising id and standard ad signals. See Google’s privacy policy. The web game does not show these ads.
Remove ads is a one-time purchase through Google Play or the App Store. The store handles payment. We do not receive your card number. The app stores only that the purchase is owned, so ads stay off.
What we do not collect
- Email, phone, address, or precise location
- Photos, contacts, or files
- A login or social account
Share opens your device’s share sheet. We do not post for you.
Hosting
This website is hosted on Cloudflare. The score hub runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process IP address and request logs to operate the service. We use that only to run the site and stop abuse.
Children
Sudoku Coach is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child submitted a display name or score, email us and we will delete it.
How long scores are kept
Daily scores stay so the leaderboard and rank can be shown. Uninstalling the app removes local data on that device. It does not erase a score already sent to the hub. Email us to delete a player id, display name, and scores.
Your choices
- Play casual games and never finish a daily, so nothing is sent
- Use a nickname on the leaderboard
- Skip ads, or buy Remove ads
- Turn Coach voice off
- Email [email protected] to delete hub data for a player id
